This High Threat Environments Close Protection Course, presents a modern approach to working in Hostile Environments on Protective Security Details and Close Protection tasks.
This training course has been initiated and developed under the auspices of the Paoli Security Consultancy & Risk Management (PSCRM) Specifically and IBSSA Macedonia DOOEL, in response to a lack of a specialised courses focusing on PSD operators working within high threat environments and or fragile conflict-affected countries, the formation of this course has been driven by demand in the field by Private Security/Military Companies (PS/MC).
It has been Identified by Private Security/Military companies that although there are many training providers around the world for PSD operatives, the providers are unaware that all PS/MC companies who now operate under the standards of Management System for Quality of Private Security Company Operations-Requirements” (ANSI/ASIS PSC.1-2012), BS 8507-2:2009 Code of practice for close protection services – Operations outside the United Kingdom and the UK National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Providing Close Protection Services.
This training course has been developed to incorporate these standards which currently no other provider includes. Therefore, this new level of qualification will eliminate the time provided by PS/MC’s indoctrinating PSD operators whilst in country to ensure they understand and conform to these standards, thus saving further time and resources for the PS/MCs.
